Ben L. Edwards became interested in American history and genealogy at a young age. Tales passed down in his family of a relationship to Paul Revere intrigued him. Beginning with only a few clues, he was able to trace his ancestors' footsteps back to colonial Boston and prove the connection. On the journey, he uncovered some fascinating things. In 2000, based on his findings, Ben authored a tale of historical fiction for children called One April in Boston. The book was released on audio CD the following year. Material from the story and information Ben discovered about Boston's history during his research serve as the basis for his one-of-a-kind walking tour.
Ben is president of Write Marketing Group, a Boston based firm that offers marketing consultation, copywriting and project management services. The company develops marketing strategy and writes and produces brochures, ads, direct mail packages and websites for both large and small organizations. As owner of a full color commercial printing business for 20 years, Ben worked with corporations, advertising agencies and non-profits on all phases of print production from design to print to mailing. With a degree in marketing, he also served as a consultant for many of his customers. Ben's extensive experience in the field of print communications, strong writing skills and creativity make him a great asset for his clients.
